Come annunciato dal club inglese, infatti, l’ex trainer del Lipsia è stato ufficialmente esonerato dopo i recenti risultati negativi che hanno visto i Peacocks scivolare al terz’ultimo posto in classifica, in coabitazione con l’Everton (ma con una partita in meno rispetto ai Toffees, ndr)

Nonostante qualche fugace indiscrezione in merito a un clamoroso possibile ritorno del Loco, però, sembrerebbe che la dirigenza stia sondando altri, differenti profili rispetto all’argentino: in lista, secondo TMW, vi sarebbero Steven Gerrard, recentemente esonerato dall’Aston Villa, lo spagnolo Carlos Corberan del West Bromwich e Ante Postecoglu del Celtic.
