La cosa straordinaria è che Andy Cole, primo, ne ha segnati 25 in 44 gare, mentre Les Ferdinand, secondo a pari merito con Erling, ce ne ha messe 47. Haaland ci è riuscito in sole 13 gare.

Momento nero per il tecnico spagnolo che dopo la prima roboante vittoria, ha subito due brutti stop con un solo gol segnato e ben 4 subiti, 2 contro il Tottenham e 2 contro il Brighton. Anche lo scorso anno, la prima parte di stagione fu molto negativa per gli Sky Blues, che nel girone di ritorno riuscirono poi a ingranare conquistando quantomeno la qualificazione in Champions.
